Site Design Measures

The Municipal Regional Stormwater Permit encourages implementation of the following site design measures:

• Minimize land disturbance and impervious surfaces (especially parking lots)

• Cluster structures and pavement

• Directing roof runoff to vegetated areas

• Use micro-detention, including distributed landscape-based detention

• Preserve open space

• Protect and/or restore riparian areas and wetlands as project amenities
